Atlas VPN’s protocol selection is somewhat restricted, with all its apps automatically defaulting to IKEv2. We highly recommend users manually switch to the WireGuard protocol. Unlike IKEv2, WireGuard offers enhanced safety, superior speed, and significantly reduced data consumption.
An ideal improvement would involve Atlas VPN discontinuing support for IKEv2 entirely and adopting OpenVPN as a replacement.
Atlas VPN’s kill switch feature serves to disconnect your device from the internet in the event of a VPN connection dropout, effectively preventing any potential leakage of your true IP address.
